Where do I find my replays?
The Isle saves every recording in %LOCALAPPDATA%\TheIsle\Saved\Demos as a file like demo8.replay. Paste that path into the Explorer address bar.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The replay runs in the actual game on one of our render servers and streams to your browser like a video call.
What counts towards the 3 free replays?
Starting a replay counts once per replay per day. Watching the same replay again that day is free, and if no render server is free nothing is counted. The counter resets at 00:00 UTC.
Why does my replay say unsupported?
Replays only play on the game version they were recorded with. After a big The Isle patch, older replays may need a moment until that version is available on our render servers.
Can other people see my replays?
No. Uploaded replays are private to your account and cannot be downloaded again by anyone.
